well not so big but big enough.

I was out with Yankee (momma dog) and the dachsies were out back. Well I hear all this barking (not the normal kind either) so I hurry up with Yankee then all was quite so I feed and start to water her when I glance outside and see Ruby outside of the fence! :faint: I set down the water (spilling it of course) usher the four other dogs inside when I realize that I didn't put up all the extra gates to keep my dogs from seeing Yankee and them seeing her. Just a little growling goes on but thank goodness not much of anything else. So I go out and Ruby is dancing away because she sees me and come bounding in when I open the gate. Phew!! Now at least I know she wont run off or go far if she gets away from me like some other b/t longhair (Mitzi Moo) I know does. :hearts:

Nothing like a brief moment of panic to liven up your day, is there! I'm glad she didn't run... you are obviously more exciting to her than the rest of the big wide world :D

Total panic!!! I am glad she is OK. Starla sort of did that, when she found the one weak spot in the chain link and decided to duck under and run for it....I was not as calm....cussing her out really loudly as I ran down the alley after her....of course when I saw her I had to change my tone and praise and reward her for letting me catch her. "Come here Starla, sweetheart, mommy is going to KILL YOU! Yes she is! yes you make her very angry! you silly girl!"

My two have dug under our fence once or twice, before they realized they have the easy life in our house and it doesn't make sense to leave! :rotfl:

(The Professor told Snooter that if they left, they might have to do actual work to make money and Snooter said NO WAY!)

I would have been in a total panic mode. Glad all is well

That is why are of my doors lead out to fenced areas with locks on the gates. I am so afraid of one fo them getting out on me.

She was able to squeeze through the slats on the gate. I have chicken wire up because when Dudley was a baby he would do that and it was the only way to keep him in but the edge of it was pulled up. So now I have two curtain rods (the only thing I could find today) stuck in the ground on the outside of the gate. :rotfl:
