We live in Clifton, N.J. and the closest meet-up of doxie-lovers is in Westchester county N.Y., which is quite a hike for us. Anyone know of a closer group? Anyone within driving distance & would like to get together for a doxie play-day? Any good small dog parks nearby that anyone knows of? I don't do big dog parks; it's just my phobia....can't handle it.:rolleyes:

I am so disappointed that there was actually another DLCer in Oregon and I missed it. The next nearest member is up in Seattle! Luckily, there are a lot of dachsie owners in your neck of the country, so good luck at finding them and a meetup.

There's a regular NYC meetup once a month (we don't go as Tasha is antisocial) plus I highly recommend the Spring Fiesta in Washington Square Park the last Saturday in April. 1000s of doxies, its amazing!

Oooooh, it is almost time for that again! I may be out of town but if I can make it I want to get there on time this year!!!!!! Oscar enjoyed the big dog run the best but I enjoyed the dachsies!!!!!!!!!

Its April 21st, the 3rd Saturday, and the one day in April I'll be out of town! Though if it rains it will be Sunday. That I might be able to do.
