My apartment is pee pad free. I'm experimenting. Chili is now ten months old and perfectly capable of eliminating outside. Jimmy has never caught onto the pee pad idea and eliminates outside except for the occassional accident inside. Am I crazy to start this now? Is Chili just too old to break of the pee pad addiction? He uses the pad more often than eliminating outside.
Nope! He will adapt...good luck, lots of rayz :rayz: :rayz: :rayz:
You just have to do potty training 101 with lots of praise and treats when you catch him doing it right.
The only thing with the timing is the snow and wet grass might set things better a little bit.

Hey if I can do it with 3month old pups you can do it with yours.BUT with weather permitting there will be some accidents.Mine hate the wet grass. In the cold they wear jackets and do their bussiness.

We trained Casey to eliminate outside when we moved in July. He was 9months old. He used pee pee pads all the time (we lived in a condo *sardine can*)
We walked with him and Sophie (she came to us potty trained) and told him to "Go Busy" and when he did We would hoot and holler and give him a treat.
We still hoot and holler (not too loudly) but we no longer give him a treat.
YOU CAN DO THIS! :cheer2:
