Just a reminder the biggest and one of the best Doxie picnics is fast approaching.

The NEOD (North East Ohio Dachshund Picnic) is going to be held on Saturday July 14, 2007 at Plum Creek Park in Kent, Ohio.

Please come out and spend the day support dachshudn rescu and you love of the doxies.

It will be a lot of fun. Lots of people, games, food and great vendors, including Dachshudn Delights an DRNA.

Look for me! I'll be the lady without a Dog :( We are leaving here on Wednesday night and heading to PA. DH needs to do some stuff for In-laws. I'll drive over on Saturday for the picnic. We are about 2 hours from Kent when we are in PA at his moms.

Alas, we are not going....Have agilty that Sunday early (7 am amd 1 1/2 hours away) but we are going to do earthdog Saturday.

Yolando-yes its Beckyp I don't know if she goes to the meetings she has a doxie by the name of Gretta. She just made another beautiful sweater. I'm thinking of getting one for Gunner also--something realy manly. I'm hoping to be there next year.

Yep BeckyP is the same one who makes the sweaters and comes to our Columbus meetups. We are friends and neighbors! They fell in love with Ilsa and decided to get their own dachsie and found Gretta at the Franklin County Shelter. She lives just around the corner from me...well at least until we move to our new house on July 18.

Its been ages since I posted on here!! With my back problems I was lucky to get on anything! Hopefully I can keep up with things more once I am healed.

Looking forward to seeing you again. :banana:

Okay, I've figured out that my American Express points will more than pay for a one night's stay at a pet friendly hotel in Kent. How can he say no if it's free?

I will be there......WOOOHOOO can't wait this will be my first year...I am sure you will be able to find me...I will be with Speedy and I know he will find everyone and make sure to smell and say hello to everyone there....also the rest of my gang will be there as long as they can behave themselves...Speedy plans to race!!! hmmm unless he gets stage fright and just sits there....most of all we plan to have lots and lots of fun and support DRNA who is very special to Speedy and I.

YAY!!! I'm going!!!! Paul figured that with all the stress of the move and my aunt's death, I deserve a mini-vacation! I'm sure it didn't hurt that I got the hotel for free with Am Ex points. LOL.

Hi Everyone! This is my first post. I have been reading all the posts and enjoying the pictures for some time now, and finally figured out how to join. I love looking at everyones pictures and hearing the stories of their dogs and how similar they are to mine. I am really excited because we will be attending the wiener dog picnic for our 5th time this year. I have two doxies. A "red" male (although he is more tan with black highlights) Scooby who is 9, and a black and tan female named Casey who is almost 2 (in August). Now I Have to read on how to post pictures so you can see my babies.

Dang has it been a year already? I swore last year as I was sitting here so sad that ya'll were there and I wasn't - that I was gonna be there this year. Guess a wedding, a new baby and PJ finally being back to work after being out for almost a year (OOUUCCH) due to his broken leg just killed that plan:(
So - we plan for next year! I am making it my lifes mission to do a major meet and greet VERYYYY soon!!

Hi Everyone, I missed meeting some of you. I got sidetracked looking at a darling little girl we put an application in for from the DRNA booths. Her name is KiKi and I am hoping she will be a part of our family. She and I are in the first pic. Our Shelties, Apollo and Casey came also and the sweet puppy in the xpen is my friend Jennifers. Her name is Gretel. I didn't take too many pics. Just having fun with everyone. Poor Ilsa and I didn't get any pics together:sad3: I included a pic of Yolanda with a new sweater she got for Miss Angel.

So why is it the picture of you ad KiKi looks so nice and I look so mad? Serioulsy it was nice meeting you and I do hope KiKi becomes yours.

I think the new sweat for Angel is perfect and I won a raffle with a tiny sweater made in GOOSEMans size also. I told Becky she needs to tell everyone the way the bottom of the sweater is made ins PERFECT or low ridign doxies. It was GOOSEMan tested.

I wasn't going to mention the look on your face!!:rolleyes: I wondered too about that! LOL

I am soooo glad the sweaters worked out so well. They will look so good in their sweaters this winter. I think she makes the BEST sweaters!!! I hope we can attend s couple fo cooler weather events so she can sell more.
