Our little Kitty--Max

Tom and I helped Max to the bridge at 10:35 am this morning.
The attendants at the Animal Shelter were really supportive and understanding.

We looked at the other kittys that were available for adoption with Max in our arms. He spoke *meowed*to a few and hissed at others.
We were sure he was telling them that he was loved and we were the best Kitty parents ever!!!!!.

We stayed with Max when he got the needle to have him sleep, we were asked to leave the room when he was given the second needle.
We returned to the room to say our tearful Good-byes and left him covered with his favoUrite blanket.

We miss him already and could not find it in our hearts to adopt another kitty today. But, in time we will.

Reading about Max, brings back memories of my Tigger though 16 years later it's still hard, he was in our home less then 30 days, but in our hearts forever.
