Reggie, Buzz and Tyra

I helped 3 little dachshunds get from Point A to Point B this weekend. Reggie went from a foster in Fort Worth down a forever home to Austin and Buzz and Tyra came up from Austin to fosters here.

Here's Reggie. He's a standard and the most laid-back guy. He kind of has a goofy eye, some sort of birth defect, but it makes him cuter!

Miss Tyra came originally from a shelter up here and could not walk. She also weighed 19 pounds and should weigh about 10. She looked like a watermelon on sticks! She has had surgery and is walking and running now, if a bit wobbly! She had been sedated for the car ride and wasn't much up for a photo shoot.

And then there is BUZZ!! What a cute guy! He is so happy and sweet. He and Napoleon were instant buddies and played and played! We wish he was staying longer!

Wow Courtney - I cannot get over how much weight Tyra lost! I saw her photo on CTDR and she was an absolute porker!! She looks like a totally different pupper now!!! I'm just in shock! How did they get her slimmed down so quickly?

What beautiful puppers you had the pleasure of transporting!! Love the pixs! Did you drive all the way to Austin or meet someone halfway? I think that's something I could help out with if you all ever need an extra transporter.
