6 Months with Piper!

Tomorrow (Friday) is 6 months since we adopted Piper from a local shelter!!!

We couldn't be happier that he has come into our lives! He is such a good boy, and we love him so much!

Piper’s Story –

Piper came from a shelter about 25 minutes from our house. He was in the shelter with his parents. They were turned over to animal control because their owner was under investigation for having 27 dogs. I don’t know how many other dogs were turned over. Piper was only in the shelter 2 days before I adopted him. As soon as he was posted, we ran down there to meet him! His parents were in fairly good health, but his dad’s teeth were awful. They were both adopted quickly as well. All of them had to be spayed/neutered.

Piper was named Jimmy, but that wasn’t a P name so it had to go! He didn’t know it anyway. I think the shelter gave him that name.

They were so funny! It is a very small shelter and we were in a tiny, crowded office. They were chasing each other around and rolling all over. I was so ecstatic! :boogie:
