Weiner Dog Races and Car Show

One of my car show friends just sent me some info that Yoakum, Texas has a festival every June that features a Car Show and Weiner Dog Races. :cheer3: :cheer3: What a combo. :rolleyes: Might have to go to that!

I mapquested it and it looks like it's between Houston and San Antonio about 2 hours from Houston. I haven't had a chance to look at Yoakum website yet to see what else they have to offer.

That just sounds like sooo much fun! I live about 15 miles out of New York City & although they have regular doxie meet-ups & events in the city, it's just too major a project for me to schlepp the dogs into city, pay outrageous parking & fight the traffic. Wish I could find one in N.W. Jersey....i'd go to everything.....so, far no luck, though.
