Patrice had Oscar, Rikka and I over for supper in her lovely home in NW Houston. Patrice was very welcoming, Miller was very welcoming, Cash was very welcoming, but Scooter ... Well, He and Rikka did NOT hit it off at all. They couldn't be in the same room without some serious growling and barking ... mostly from Rikka. :sosad:
But the rest of us had a great time. Patrice picked up a sea food assortment platter take out and we munched our way through crab cakes, stuffed shrimp (to die for), and lots of other stuff I wasn't sure what I was eating. We chatted for hours (like we saw each other every weekend) and the doggies got to play outside in the yard since the weather was lovely.
I got a tour of her home which included not one, but two sewing rooms (I am so envious) and a hall of dachsund prints and lithographs that were so cool.
I only took a few pics and it was dark by then, so this is the only one that turned out decent. But I had a blast anyway and am so glad Patrice invited us over!

Yeah, Toby and Scooter could be related. They both seem to have lots of "issues". The only reason that Scooter wasn't worse than he was, was that I kept him leashed for the short while I let him in the house. He's a mess!
We had a great time! :cheer3: :cheer3: The food was from a good Cajun restaurant here and we had fried crawfish and shrimp, stuffed crab, stuffed shrimp, crab cakes and fried oysters (which Ellen declined :dunno:)

Yummmmm, sounds delish !!! And I had to laugh.... when Ellen and her kids were at my house, I had Toby tethered to me for a while - I was afraid I was going to have to drag him everywhere !!!
