Well...I brought my camera!
BUT...I left the memory stick at home. HOW could I have done that???
At any rate. Alex and Ollie had a blast. I think I only spent 1/4 of the meetup with Ollie because, as expected, he was socializing with everyone else. He got PLENTY of treats from just about everyone.
Alex, I am very proud of. It would be typical for Alex not to leave a 6' radius of a bubble around me, but he was Mr. Social as well. He was walking around with his tail wagging and a smile on his face. Alex got to meet Holly, a 14 month old black and tan LH. Her mom came over because from the other side of the room, she thought Alex was Holly! Of course, close up they look different, but I admit I had to take a double take when catching one of them out of the corner of my eye!
I think the biggest dog there was a very big brindle smooth boy and of course Salsa was the smallest. I don't know how many doxies were there...but it was almost a bazillion.
Of course, it is always a special day when one gets to see Miss Laikaweener, OwenWeenie and Salsa Bugalita Ballerina in her little cute dress. (yep, i got to pet and hold them all :) ) Rob came later, so I got to see how berry berry much Laika loves her daddy. it was sooo funny...she was in his lap on the floor and other dogs would come up (Owen, Salsa, but others too) and she would almost be a contortionist or more like she was crazy glued to him to make sure she stayed fully cemented in his lap no matter who tried to join her or stop by or no matter if his arms moved to try to pet someone who came up to them. She looks really great and you would never have known she had surgery ever.
