Well Tonight I took Casey to Sophie's Training class.

Only my pal Rebecca (Addie cat here)and 1 Trainer (Marilyn) knew.
We were commanding them (the dogs) to sit and lay down wothout a treat.
John ( the master trainer) says to me. Good Job she is doing very well!
I laughed at told him that I brought my other dachshund tonight and left Sophie at home.

What did Casey do at class? Well, He growled at Addie and had a stare down with her (lots of growling and barking and lunging for at least 3 minutes...twice) Poor Addie, she is such a Love. Half way thru the class he pooped on the floor, 10 minutes later he peed on the floor.:faint:

When all was over. John approached me and said that he wished he knew of Casey in the summer as he would have had a job for him on the set of Decker or was it Dexter? I dunno......I was half listening. Kickin' My Arse now!

   Casey reminds me of Gretchen, my German Shepard I had. She was easy for the rest of us to deal with, but she gave my mother fits...so we decided the two of them needed to go to obedience school.

Gretch would drag her from the car to the school, and the same thing on the return trip. Once there, she would make as much trouble as possible in class, and when the instructor complained to my mother, Gretch pooped right on his shoe. Need I tell you she flunked the course?

Once night Mom needed to use the bathroom, but no one would hold onto Gretch for her. She finally tied her leash to a bench on the other side of the room. When she came out....there sat the bench and Gretch, waiting for her.

Gretch was great girl. Later, when my mother was in a wheel chair, Gretchen took care of her, supervised who came into the house...or was kept out, helped her with things. No more tricks. I sure miss her.

This is why I am glad my dachshunds are small.

If they were the size of German Shepherds with the attitudes and creativity they have displayed, I think my house would have fallen down long ago .

As for pooping on someone's shoe, that should not be an automatic "F" - especially if the shoe deserved it!!
