There was a doxie meet in Salem Mass. today, so I brought Molly over for a nice Saturday afternoon of trouble making! She had a really nice time; I'm glad I got her out to socialize.
Jill D. was there with her two boys, which was perfect, since she is going to be watching Molly for me while I'm on vacation. Molly, Bailey and Reese got along great!
There were sooo many doxies there running around, chasing balls, rough housing, it was GREAT! I totally fell in love with a little brown pie boy; he was 9 weeks old I believe. I wanted to steel him, but that would be filed under "bad manners". :rotfl:
Molly was the only mini there, which was so funny to see! I kept thinking to myself, gee those standards are HUGE!!! :rotfl: There were a few wire hair and pies and maybe one or two long haired doxies. Several people kept asking me the same question "So, when are you going to get a second one?"
There is going to be another meet next month, on the 18th, same place.
Did I take pictures? Ah, no, I forgot my camera. :duh: My bad! BUT Jill did take some, and I'm sure she'll post them for all to view!

Yes Nancy, I hear that it's "frowned upon" to steal someone's dog. Hmmmm. :scratch:
Can't wait to see the pics!!! I'm so jealous Jill gets to babysit Molly!!! :hearts:

It is also frowned upon to forget one's camera at a dachshund meetup!!!!:shocked:
Okay, we are counting on Jill for pics, now. :D I'm glad Molly had fun!!

Glad you had fun. Maybe I'll go to the next one. Salem is about 1 1/4 hours from me.
Sounds like a blast! Yes, forgetting ones camera is frowned upon, because we need pictures!!
Out Toronto Meet-up is next week, so I better charge my own camera.

I'm glad that Molly had a good time at the Meet up with Reese and Bailey.
I love taking my 2 to the Meet -ups. It's like taking your kids to a playground where they can play with ALL there friends.
So.....When are you getting another one? :rotfl:
I know, I eagerly clicked this thread looking for the pics--no pics! :faint: I know, naughty Molly chewed the cable, but you can order replacement cables for $10 or so.....
Glad you had a fun time! Minis are sooo small. Tasha looks like a bruiser next to them! I envy those of you with minis as you can pick them up with one hand. Tasha is definitely a two armed lift!

Tsk Tsk Tsk....you have been blacklisted for forgetting your camera at a meetup!!!
I took some pictures, but most of them didn't come out so hot. :( Here are a few that were salvagable. I was able to lighten a bit in Photoshop. There were a few other people taking pictures, so if they post them on the meet-up site, I'll link you guys.

It was fun. This was the first time I had gone to an indoor meetup with the group. Bailey has a friend, Sammy, who lives near us that we invite to the dog park in the good weather, he was there. Reese fell madly in love with a red wire girl. Sorry Molly! I was quite horrified at his actions. Something like this: :banana: Good thing I bought the spray bottle with me. :faint: There were so many cuties there! I made sure to visit with all of them.
Fun pics, and Molly has a cute patootie! Indoor meetups are such a good idea this time of year!

We have so much fun at our meetups also. Do you have a special place you meet at? We use our homes right now until we can find another place during cold months.

You did good getting pics. I thought I was the only one that got all butt shots. I tell 'em OK I know you' re not show dogs but I didn' t know you all are "show your butt" dogs!!!
I know what it' s like to "loose" a B'n'T among the others. I have 3 of 'em & they look like triplets from a distance. SOme times it' s even hard to tell the Choc.'n'Tan from the others!!!
