On Sunday, we attended our first outdoor earth dog event of the season. Reese was practicing Master and Bailey was working on Junior.
Reese was great on his walk-up, and marked first. Once in the tunnel, he had a bit of a hard time with the first turn and got a little confused. Once he figured it out, he zoomed through the roller and the constriction. Worked feverishly, of course, and was AWESOME when I went to remove him. We practiced this the whole winter. Now, the honor was ehhhh, ok. This will be our biggest obstacle. But, at least he has fun trying!
Bailey had some issues in Junior. Not really sure why, but he wouldn't make the turn. He timed out, but we got him to the rats, and let him work, and he also did great with having me remove him.
We have our first trial in 2 weeks and I can't wait.

We've still got some work to do, but boy, do they have fun trying!
