WHoo hoo a Katrina victim

has a new home! I have a tenant who is an older retired gentleman. He has long talked about adopting but never found anyone who fancied him or he fancied. All that has changed!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure when but this week or last Dr W went into the local humane society for his weekly visit to "the zoo". He went into the small dog section and of course everyone went crazy, except for one. Walter. Walter is a 4 yr old Katrina victim. HW positive, almost starved. It was :hearts: at first site!! Soooo, Walter has a new home and a new daddy! He is wonderful according to Dr W! Very docile, housebroken, no fears or aggressions! He is being treated for what was termed a very mild case of Heartworms :( but is doing very well! I'll be going down there today to get pictures! I have given Dr W our addy and invited him to join us!!
Sooo!! Yet another sucess story!!! What a fabulous way to start my day!!!
