A few days ago we noticed a change in Lucky and hope it is the beginning of godd things. He was in his wheelcart and laying on his pillow and he got up, came to me on the couch and then rolled to the door and back to me and then to the door. OMG - He asked to go outside!! Thought it might just be a one time thing, but he continues to do this daily.
Hdoes not have pee leaks anymore and only about once a week in the mornings when I do not get out of bed fast enough to get him carried outside has there been a poopy accident.
Lately when massaging him, we have noticed he is more responsive and is pulling back his legs from us.
Put the pool back up Sunday and filled it last night and put the stablizer in it today, so tomarrow, Lucky will start his daily swimming again (maybe this year, we can convince him to move his front feet and get those back feet going also. He is not going to like it, but will just have to put up with it.
Stomper on the other hand has been barking at the pool all morning and wants to go in it today. He grumped at me when I told him not till tomarrow.
Am hoping that with Stomper in it and swimming around that Lucky will get the idea. Have to order new life preserves for the furcrew this year. Stomper's is faded and has a rip in it from overuse.
Please say a prayer or two if you have any to spare for Lucky. It has been a long 2 years getting to him asking to go out and feeling in his back feet.

this is soooo exciting!! it would be really wonderful if he got some function back...even if it's just enough to make make it a bit easier on you, potty-wise.

Many many :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: coming at you all, Southwind. That's just the bestest news!!! I know that Wendal has certainly improved in that department since he came...I credit Mount Everest, myself. And Laura's chiro, of course. He's not at all leaky any more, and can make it through the night mostly (6 hours) :cheer2::cheer2:

I love that Stomper is grumping to go swimming :). My guys would just look at me like I was totally insane .

I need to go back and read about Rainbow Diamond.
I had almost given up hope that he would improve and then he did this. I will never again beleive 2 years is a long time for one to heal.
It is so nice to have him go out and down the ramp, I am not really complaining, but 35 lbs gets heavy to carry in and out. This in the morning and right before bed carring is so much less strain on the arms.
Today Lucky even helped Bug chase butterflys, so am in smiles watching them play together.
