Hello everyone! Some of you may have seen this post already in other boards, but I am asking for all fingers and paws crossed as my sister is looking into adopting this ADORABLE furbaby. She has already talked to her DH and he said he would consider it (this after he said NO MORE DOGS!) When he gets home from hunting, they are going to go meet Sidney. He seems like such a sad dog, and I think their little family o'weenies would do wonders for him! I will keep you posted as I hear more. Here is the link to see tihs adorable yet sad little guy...

Cara is *un*patiently waiting for an email from Leslie about Sidney...she's trying to be as patient as possible but is driving herself nuts!! I guess Leslie is supposed to be getting in contact with the lady Cara rescued from before, Cindy in Va. BIL saw the pictures of cute lil Sidney and that was enough for him!! Cara said Leslie had told another family about Sidney before they went away for Thanksgiving, so we are hoping that she can get him as they have yet to see Sidney at all. (He wasn't posted on the site until they left for T-giving) Cara assured her she wanted Sidney and that she was willing to pay the adoption fee right away. The other glitch is that the lady prefers to adopt in state...and Cara is in Va (they are in NC). We are hoping and :pray: ing that once Leslie talks to Cindy things will go our way!! More :rayz: and :pray: would be MUCH appreciated!!

This is not good, one Doxie Rescue in CO is firm on not adopting out of state. :(

Unfortunately it was not. There was a family who had gone away for Thanksgiving who was told about Sidney before they left (and befroe he was posted on the site). They are the ones who adopted him, but thank you all for your well wishes and :rayz: !!!

THe right baby will come along! Try talking to SSDR, they have a 2.5 yr old male who is in a kill shelter and is fixing to be PTS if they can't find him a place. I'm trying to convince DH to let me foster him.
