Today is the first day we went this year. Last year we went at least 3 times a week during the warm weather. Today is sunny and warm and I felt for not doing much w/the Gi, so off we went. We usually hang out in the small dog area first and then head to the beach, and that's what we did. We met a few other doxies too. B&Ts. Cute dogs. Gigi sniffed and got sniffed a few times, then we head to the beach. The walk was great except a few times there were the bigger doggies want to play with her. Gi does not like that. The Beach was quite pack, we went to the side (usually fewer dogs) and I tried to throw a stick to the water and Gi actually went IN THE WATER to retrieve it. Mind you the water is still cold, even though I didn't throw the stick in deep water... still getting the paws wet. :D We stayed for a bit and left. It's just nice to go to the park and we saw a bunch of "regulars" there. Nice to see "friends". And no pictures. Sorry. heh-heh.

Isn't it neat to have an off leash place to take them? Wish we had something here!

What a great off leash park you have! The ones here are usually on cement. So we just illegally take Tasha off lead in the parks and hope not to get caught. I'm amazed Gi got her paws wet!

I like "our" off leash park. I especially love the small dog area. It can get intimdating out there with the big dogs. She doesn't care too much about other dogs in the first place and I always have to pay tons of attention to her when we are out there in case the big dogs want to play with her. The diva does NOT like that.

I am glad that she actually went in the water yesterday too. It is cute to see her trying to stretch as much as she could to get to the stick (minimal contact with the water). :rotfl:
