Well I was not going to take on any more fosters until our new house was built but I saw a post on another board that just pulled me to act. I cannot explain it but I just had to (no...there were no pictures). A breeder wanting to put down a dog because he went blind... I guess that got to me because of Hoover so I agreed to temp. foster him. Well, things changed and it seems he is not going where I thought so I will be fostering him until he is adopted.
I pick him up tomorrow but the wonderful gal who pulled him has sent pictures and um...I am in deep trouble...

Book ends yeah honey, I always wanted a set of matching book ends!! :rotfl: If that is not one gorgeous baby, I aint seen one! Fostering till a forever home comes up eh?? Hmmmm... might we thinks there is one already>!

I'm so glad he has you. I offered to foster him but he got you instead. :)

He can still come up to me also, I have NO fosters right now.

I have an appt. with the specialist for him Tuesday. I think we can make a clearer decision on things at that point. I think Barbara wants him to stay in town though.
I am sure we will correct that NO fosters issue soon :)!

Yolanda, do you want some fosters!? We are going crazy down in Texas. I just got two emails TODAY about puppies - one a drop dead gorgeous red female piebald. I stepped up to pull her from the shelter without even asking anyone else...shhh.... I wish we could send some dogs your way!!

heh...I am sure my mom could help transport..though I found out she is not going through VA...she is still going to ME... so could get them closer...

Spirit is gorgeous, and yes, you are in DEEP trouble. Rafi just commented after I explained that it wasn't the same dog (he was sitting beside me, but didn't read the post part) "Spirit is home and not going anywhere" , I tend to agree with him, I think you have a new family member!

HAHAHAHA...well there is the husband and the mother and the 7 dogs already in the house... (5 of ours 1 foster and 1 mothers dog). We will have to see...
Spirit is SO handsome, I hope he gets to stay. BTW love the name. :hearts:

I vote yes. No transport hassles, no adoption fees, no trauma for Spirit.
Of course Duchie thinks she has to be an only child, so what do I know?
