Pippit and I picked up Grammy at her doctor's appointment yesterday(Grandpa had errands to run)and we drove up to the lake house. Pippit babysat Grammy while I ran into the grocery to get a few things. Then when we got to the lake, I decided that Grammy needed a nap. So, Pippit and I walked around the lake(45 minutes)and then I took him swimming.

We slept over and my parents were shocked that Pippit didn't get up when he heard them get up~he waited until I got up to move. Then we went for another walk around the lake. (When I walk him, I wrap one leash around me and attach that to his leash~hands free and he has more room to explore) Well, we were over 3/4 of the way around he he laid down......flat. And he gave me this look like, "I am not moving and you cant make me!" He has never done that before. So, I get him moving again and we walk down to the water. He wants nothing to do with going swimming so I decide to just put him in the water. He just stood there, for like 5 minutes. :rotfl:

He slept all the way home and is passed out right now. Poor little guy!

We did the same thing to our pups today...but on purpose! They're both sacked out right now. Speaking of, I need to go post some pics from our trip to the creek and trails.......

Oh yes I know that move. Mitzi is mine who lets me know she's had enough by laying down and not moving. I get her to go another few feet and the she decides it's time for me to carry her heavy butt back to the house. :) If she went so cute I'd make her walk.

We did the same yesterday since we knew the firebooms were coming. It was upper 80s and humid and Tasha just laid down about half way thru. Carried her a bit, gave her water, and made her walk the rest of it. A tired pupper IS a good pupper!

Glad you and Pip had so much fun and got some good exercise!
