No matter what the eyes look like, they are incredibly cute! They look just wonderful Irma.

I think the eyes turn out like that because of the way the flash hits the eye. Try seeing if you other flash options on your camera, it may help. You just need to play until you find the right setting. I know it works differently than red-eye reduction in humans.

I Love that bed! Looks so comfy and cozy!

I could just snuggle with Gunner and Petunia in it. If Petunia lets me! :rotfl:

Janet, your crazy. I bought a new digital, its a Kodak Easy Share C-315 just so I could take pictures of my babies, I got it for 1/2 price at Target. I let someone use my more expensive one and they have not returned it.

It's a big problem with taking dog pictures!! One of the things I like about our camera is that it was reviewed as having essentially no red-eye... and it does a great job with dogs' eyes too (this is good since dogs seem to be my primary subject, LOL). Here is a good explanation of what causes the light effect on the eyes...

http://www.colorpilot.com/redeye_effect.html

and it gives some suggestions on how to fix it or avoid it.

They are cute either way!!! That's a nice bed; I wonder if Petunia will decide to share.

Thanks Kim, I do remember the kitchen only having one light on, I told hubby we should have turned more lights on after I took the pictures and that could have been the problem, we lightened them quite a bit.

Patt actually the bed was a gift for them to share and of course Petunia does not share, so she claimed it--but Gunner has since napped in it also.:D
