Our local Police Dept has a Citizens Police Academy and we do community service work with them. On the 4th Friday of each summer the uptown merchants have a get together and we have a booth there. The officers thought the dachsies would make cute mascots. Grettas Mommy, Becky, made a prototype of a coat for them to wear. Thought you might get a kick out of it.
Ilsa moved as I took the pic. She was checking out the coat.

I love that! I should have something like that for Austin when he's at work with me. They might like him more if he had a command logo on him. :rotfl:

Here are the coats since we changed them. We added the patches and little tiny badges that we give to the kids. This coming Friday the three ladies, Ilsa, Gretta and another neighbor Yippee will strut their stuff around town for a 4th Friday celebration: The Dog Days of Summer.
