I had a feeling it wasn't real since that would be too tasty a treat for a dachshund to resist! :bcake5:

Great photos. Good thing the bird was busy elsewhere or bye, bye birdie. Trixie is not allowed anywhere near our bird's cage or she would lose a nose or paw.

The bird was probably getting a little chuckle out of the kids "hunting"! :rotfl:

Great pix!

I thought that bird looked much to docile with that dachshund tongue so close! :hula1:

:rotfl: :rotfl: Very cute!

Tasha's human friend Nancy adopted a doxie before she got her chihuahua Chico but had to give her back after 3 days as the doxie chased her bird constantly. Its not in a cage...and Nancy wasn't aware of the doxie hunting instinct....

Oh yeah! Rasta (the birds name) swoops down on them every so often , just to keep them on their paws! :rotfl:

All of them are great, but that one is my favorite! She seems to be having a staredown with the plastic bird.

Mine only help to clean the birdcage as far as eating up all the bird seed that falls to the floor...so your are much more helpful than mine!

that is fabulous :rotfl: I can't even think what mine would do if a birdie came calling on them! DD had one and Oscar was terrified of it!
