View Full Version : Great Weekend for The Flying Sausage!!!

We spent the weekend in Amana, IA for Peaches' third Flyball tournament. She went into this tournament with 90 points, which meant we only needed an additional 10 points to get her 2nd title (FDX)! Well she got her title, and kicked butt by scoring 245 points this weekend. I was shocked! I would have been happy with 60 or 70 points! :cheer2: WAY TO GO FLYING SAUSAGE!!! :cheer2:

Also, a bonus this weekend was that Faye (JuneyTrixie) and Krisite (Almost Doxie) came by the tournament to meet-up with us! It was awesome! They brought Faye's Juney and Trixie who were just adorable.

Also, in honor of Peaches' 2nd title, we'll unveil her new logo!

On a side note, we didn't get any pictures. The weather was miserable, and we were too focused on staying warm and dry to think about pictures. Sorry!

Woooo Hooooo Way to go PEACHES!!
When I was in Memphis weekend before last I got the Opportunity to watch some flyball. I had a blast watching all the puppers do their thing. It was really funny to watch some of those little guys flat out FLY. There was a red dachsie there who would go down, hit the board to get the ball run back to the LAST hurdle and then stop, drop the ball and try to either catch the dog that had been released to go after the next ball or the dog in the next lane. It was funny to watch how BAD he/she was being!
Anyway a HUGE Congrats to you!!!

Wow Beckie! I'd die if Peaches did something like that! I certainly wouldn't be running her if she did...that's dangerous! :shocked:

I was a bit suprised too, you could tell its wheels was turning on how he/she could stop the next dog from going and getting the next ball. JEALOUSY!
I did think it was funny, but also dangerous and I am afraid Missy Ann would act that way about others going to get the balls, of course she has never been THAT ball obcessed anyway, plus she likes Bouncy Balls anyway, not Tennis balls.

I enjoyed meeting Peaches and Piper along with their parents and also Kristie.

I gotta tell you, this tournament was really amazing and scary and LOUD!
