We're back!

We had a great time in sunny Florida! The warm weather was a great change from the frigid temps and snow we had here in Boston. The trip was too short. It was a little odd to be in a t-shirt and flip flops on Christmas day.

The boys were fantastic! They were so well behaved, we were so proud. They were welcome everywhere, and acted like such gentlemen. Perfect angels in the airports. And were quite the dolls on the flights as well. I think they are glad to be home, even though I am sure we are all missing the king size bed we had in the hotel.

We went to the beach a few times, and did they love it. It was the first time we had taken the dogs to the beach. All the smells! They were in heaven. Reese kept finding dead crabs and picking them up and walking with them. I wish the trip wasn't so short. But we have already decided to head back in August. My grandpa is 81 and not getting younger so we have decided to make a yearly trip. I think we'll drive next time. It's only about 22 hours.

Glad the trip was so good! It is a bit odd going from one climate to another and then back again! When we went to Mexico, it was beautiful! Shorts/swimsuits all week. Then got home and it was in the 40's! I was a bit blue from the weather change! So proud of the boys! They deserve extra treats for being so good!

Tasha loves the beach too--she discovered the joys of eating horseshoe crab shells so we always had to be on the alert and take them out of her reach.

Did the boys encounter any live crabs on the beach?

Welcome back and glad to hear you had a good trip. We are hoping to get away this winter also. The dogs travel well in the car until we stopthen Ilsa wants to look out the window! LOL
