Looking at the two of them together you would never think that they weighed the same. Bailey is long and stole mommys skiiny gene and Reese's frame is much smaller.

All this healthiness is not my doing. My petsitter makes sure the dachshunds don't get crazy treats and they only get their food when I'm gone. They always come back better weight wise than what I left them.

Napoleon is about 12.5 or 12 pounds depending on how long it's been since he's eaten when he gets weighed! :D And he is a perfect weight. Dax is 9 or 10 pounds I think. He's very small so maybe even less. Dewey aka Professor Chunksworth...I'm not sure how much he weighs but he needs to lose a couple for sure!!

Alex weighs 10.7 kg which I think is about 24 lbs. She was down to about 8 kg (17 lbs?) when we found her cancer, and little piggy that she is, soon got back to a nice healthy (some might say very healthy:rotfl: ) weight. I always tell people (usually after they express their surprise as she's standing on their lap that a little dog could be so heavy) that she's really a medium size dog with very short legs.

Bailey weighs 12-13 lbs. but could stand just a teensy bit more weight on him...he really thinned out when he got sick, and his ribs are a little too easy to feel for my liking. (A dachsie's dream diet...anything you want until you are at the weight I was you! :lol:)

His "cousin" Scout weighs a chunky 16.5 lbs. (should probably be 13-14)

Buddy is around 16ish and Heidi is around 17ish. They are both tweenies, and are both on after Christmas diets!! Heidi will probably stay around the same as she is part beagle so she'll never really be a small dog.

Last time at the vet Molly was 9.9 but that was in Oct. sooooo I would say between 10 & 11 now..... she looks fine to me though, can still see her waist.. :scratch:
