    Default Izzy is cast free

We went to see Dr Thomson on Friday. He took off her cast and decided to keep it off. Izzy has to wear the cone for a few more days. But here she is celebrating her freedom:

I have a call into our ortho vet because she's not using her leg much. She'll use it when we're walking slow and stands on it - but a fast walk or run, she just lifts it up.
    Hoping it's nothing.....

She might need a little physical therapy on it. She's so cute

I agree. On both counts. She may need to strenghten it a little in order to be able to use it when moving faster.

    I love her "celebration"

    big fan of the celebration!

I can't say that I blame her... putting weight on the leg hurt before - it might hurt now, too!

Hopefully she will shake it off soon.

She's prob. just not used to using it and it feels weird...hope she starts soon. seems like the vet could give you some simple pt to do at home to help her realize her leg works now.
