I just saw on the news some terrible stories! 1st there' s some people who apparently are stealing dogs to train their Pits to fight!!! A dog was stolen from someone' s yard in Richmond & found with wounds on the face that were obviously from being in a fight with another dog.
The 2nd was a man put dog training shock collars on his 6 yr. old twin sons
to punish them! There is some really twisted people out there!!!!
I always worry about small dogs being stolen as bait for dog fighters training their animals. Another reason I'd NEVER tie Tasha outside a store while I went in!!
OMG both stories sound horrifying!!!!!!!!!!! I can relate to the 2nd one in that there are some kids where I work that I WISH I could put shock collars on!!

They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
